One has always been my lucky number. Truth is, in most things, I have only had one chance. One school that offered me admission. One company that offered me the job. One individual who bet on me. One.
Truth is, we don't need many acceptances or job offers (although it would be certainly be great for our egos), we only need one. When we get that one chance, we take it and we run with it with all of our hearts to achieve our purpose and our dreams.
For many of my readers, you may be the first in your family to get a degree, the first in your family to start a business, and while you are busy being the first, you don't have a support system because everyone you meet is a 'first' too.
I get it, I understand it, and I'm here to tell you that all will be perfectly, perfectly fine because you really just need one shot.
You only need one person in your corner to show you the way.
